MID-ATLANTIC
INTERGOVERNMENTAL AUDIT FORUM
COMMITTEE STRUCTURE
Overview: By way of background, the Mid-Atlantic Intergovernmental
Audit Forum is one of the ten Regional Audit Forums and covers the states of
Delaware, Maryland, Pennsylvania, Virginia, West Virginia, and the District of
Columbia. The primary purpose of the Forum is to promote communication,
coordination, and cooperation among the federal, state, and local audit agencies
throughout our region to foster effectiveness and efficiency of governmental
operations. This purpose is augmented by our two meetings each year in which
various topics are presented and discussed and by the exchanging of ideas
between the attendees. This enables the sharing of lessons learned by the
various agencies and helps each of the audit agencies to do their work more
effectively and to improve the oversight of the audit community. The leadership
