The Program

We are very pleased to announce another New York/ New Jersey and Mid-Atlantic Joint Intergovernmental Audit Forum to be held September 28-30, 2005 at the beautiful Sheraton Convention Center Hotel in Atlantic City, New Jersey.  The objective for this meeting is to cover a variety of interesting topics and to allow time for networking with our local, state, and federal counterparts from our two forums.  So please come and join us for what promises to be a very entertaining and educational session with ample time for you to network with your peers.

 Some of the topics to be presented include:

 ¨       A Keynote Address to be provided by Mr. Rick Fair, the New Jersey State Auditor,

 ¨       An update on the “Yellow Book”,

 ¨       The keys to Investigating Fraud, Waste, and Abuse,

 ¨       Problems Facing Publicly Funded Pension Plans,

 ¨       Managing the 21st Century Workforce,

 ¨       Auditing the Use of Public Dollars to Support Private Entities, and 

 ¨       Understanding the Various Communications Styles and Identifying your Own and Others to Improve Your Communication Effectiveness.

 The program will provide 14 CPEs, and no prerequisites and/or advance preparation is required.
